Summary
In a bold move to empower women in the workforce, Intenovate Inc., in collaboration with visionary leader Paradise Rodriguez-Bordeaux, introduces the 'Beauty, Brains, and Business™' Entrepreneur Grants and Scholarships program. Addressing the challenges faced by aspiring women entrepreneurs and professionals, this initiative provides funding and support for women in traditionally male-dominated fields, fostering gender diversity and leadership in industries such as wine & spirits, hospitality, tech, beauty, and finance. The program focuses on education, leadership coaching, and community building, aiming to break barriers and empower women in high-paying professions. Eligible applicants, committed to positive community impact, are invited to contribute and apply annually.
Statement
A woman’s ability to pursue an education, build a business, or advance in her profession should not depend solely on the resources she already has. Through Intenovate Inc., I established the Beauty, Brains, and Business™ Entrepreneur Grants and Scholarships program to help women access funding, education, and professional support as they work toward those goals.
The program supports aspiring entrepreneurs and women pursuing careers across industries including wine and spirits, hospitality, technology, beauty, and finance, with particular attention to fields where women remain underrepresented.
Its purpose extends beyond providing financial assistance. Building a business and preparing for leadership also require opportunities to learn, receive guidance, and develop professional relationships. Beauty, Brains, and Business™ brings these priorities together through three areas of support:
Education: Academic opportunities that help women develop skills relevant to their chosen careers.
Leadership and mentoring: Coaching and mentorship to support professional growth and business development.
Conferences and community: Access to executive networking events and opportunities to connect with other professionals.
Community contribution is also central to the program. I want the opportunities we help create to benefit both the women who receive support and the communities they serve. Applicants should be able to explain what they intend to pursue, how they plan to sustain that work, and how they will contribute to others.
Funding must be used to start a business or attend school within ten months. Recipients must have a plan for continuing their business or education, and businesses must have fewer than 100 employees.
The program follows an annual cycle, with applications opening in September and awards granted by March 8 of the following year. Current application availability and further information can be found at BeautyBrainsandBusiness.org.
Contributions to the grant and scholarship fund help support this work and expand access for emerging women entrepreneurs and professionals.
