"I completed the program for a Graduate Certificate in Business Communications in Harvard Extension School in December of 2023. I was already a business owner and have been working for over 30 years but wanted to improve my communication skills with our staff, customers, and vendors.

Paradise was a classmate in the first class I took. Having been out of school for over two decades, I was unfamiliar with the HES platform and online classroom protocols. By the end of the first class, Paradise had everyone in class in a WHATSAPP group, and was the first to offer help to anyone who had questions about how to navigate the site, or to work together as a class.

I really saw Paradise’s kindness, patience and leadership when we’re together in our final group project, along with three other students. She was tireless in her efforts to bring our in-depth project to a successful completion.

Since then, we have remained in touch, and frequently discuss employment and business-related themes and challenges. She is a wonderful resource, with an open-minded and curious nature. I think Paradise would bring a completely unique set of skills and perspective to student government."
