BOSTON, May 16th — In recognition of her tireless efforts and significant contributions to combat human trafficking, Paradise Rodríguez-Bordeaux, a philanthropist and human rights advocate, has been awarded the Human Rights Activist Award.

The Human Rights Activist Award is presented annually to individuals who have made

substantial contributions to the promotion and protection of human rights. This year, the award committee unanimously selected Paradise Rodríguez-Bordeaux in recognition of her outstanding work in the field of anti-trafficking.

Paradise Rodríguez-Bordeaux's anti-trafficking initiatives have made a profound impact in the fight against human trafficking. She has established safe houses in multiple countries, providing a secure and supportive environment for victims to recover and rebuild their lives. In addition to providing shelter, Paradise has developed and executed numerous rescue extractions, directly intervening to free warriors from their captors. These daring operations have saved countless lives and brought many traffickers to justice.


Recognizing the deep psychological trauma that victims of trafficking endure, Paradise has also prioritized mental health support. She has established partnerships with mental health professionals and organizations to ensure survivors have access to the therapeutic resources they need to heal.


These efforts, among others, have resulted in significant strides in the fight against human trafficking, providing resources, support, and hope to warriors worldwide.


Upon receiving the award, Paradise Rodríguez-Bordeaux said,

 “It is with great honor that I,and all of my companies, continue to fight toward causes like eradicating human trafficking. It is only when we stand, firmly, together that we show that this crime against humanity willno longer be tolerated, and those, no matter who, that are complicit in the abuse of another human will be judged accordingly."
