Radfish Malibu was Tony Radfish Stearns — a lifelong Malibu local who spent over forty years in the Pacific, building custom surfboards since 1980 and teaching anyone willing to learn how to meet the ocean on its own terms. Surfing, stand-up paddle, kite surfing, kayak — Tony was in the water before most of his students were born and never stopped. Radfish was a board shop, a lesson program, a beach cleanup movement, and a community built around a stretch of California coastline Tony called home his entire life. He passed away in February 2021.
