Hilton Head at sunrise gives you something most shoot locations can't — a coastline that hasn't been touched yet. The water at that hour runs cool and deeply saturated, the sand still holds the tide, and there is no one else there. The decision to shoot wide at the water's edge was about letting the geography do what it does without competing with it. Moving into the dunes as the light warmed brought a second landscape entirely — golden, close, dense with sea oats — and the two terrains together gave the campaign a range that a single setting never could have. The creative direction, developed between model and photographer on location, prioritized feel over formula throughout.
