The Brief
After dark in Atlanta, Paradise Rodriguez-Bordeaux moves between a docked vessel and the harder textures of the waterfront. Cropped leather, stark white tailoring, flashes of pink, and commanding eyewear disrupt the utilitarian setting. The story captures a woman entirely at ease within the night—composed, direct, and unwilling to disappear into the background.

The Direction
Use the Atlanta dockside as more than scenery. The vessel, coiled rope, chain-link fencing, concrete, and worn industrial surfaces should remain visible, placing polished fashion against a working environment.
Let the camera alternate between confrontation and observation. Direct, front-facing portraits give Paradise control of the viewer’s attention, while full-length and seated compositions emphasize the elongated lines of the trousers, shorts, and boots. Lower viewpoints strengthen her physical presence; tighter crops isolate her gaze and attitude.
The red and violet treatments should function as editorial interruptions rather than decorative filters. They shift the sequence from documentary flash photography into a more graphic visual language, carrying the energy of the night across changes in styling and setting.
